Girls Lacrosse Tournament

The Great Pumpkin Shootout Girls Lacrosse Tournament was developed as an opportunity for girls in the Mid Atlantic Region to have access to a fun and safe environment to further develop their lacrosse skills and love for the game.  The founder of the Great Pumpkin Shootout has been involved with lacrosse as a player, coach and official in the Northern Virginia Area for over 20 years.  Now with three daughters playing in the area, he felt there was a lack of opportunities for girls to participate in lacrosse at a competitive level close to home.  Therefore the Great Pumpkin Shootout was founded.

The tournament format is 9 v 9 (including goalies) to allow for a faster paced games and more opportunities for each of the players involved in the game.

New for 2018: The Great Pumpkin Shootout will be offering an elite division for club teams and teams looking for a higher level of competition. The Elite Division will play 12 v 12 games at the 2026-2023 age levels.
